It's Not Easy Being Green 18 Apr 07
We’re currently enjoying the second series of It’s Not Easy Being Green on the BBC. Whilst the first series followed the efforts of presenter Dick Strawbridge (best known for his exploits on Scrapheap Challenge) and his family to live as green a life as possible, the second follows Dick and son James as they travel the country helping other people with their own green projects.
The programme aims more along the lines of inspiring people to “think green” than providing in-depth details of the projects they feature. However, the programme’s website hosts a forum that is a rich source of knowledge on everything from wood-burning stoves and bio-fuels to “green parenting” and eco-friendly web hosts.
As we’ve admitted before, we’re really only starting out on our “going green” journey, so it’s great to have all of this information available and, even better, it’s all free.
Now where could we keep a wormery…
