Finding His Voice 02 May 07
Constantly seeking to add to his range of vocal talents, our son Ben (now nearly six months old) has learnt to shriek. Not little baby wails or cries but ear-drum-piercing shrieks.
He seems to enjoy trying to push the pitch higher and higher each time until eventually no sound comes out at all (though every dog in the street probably goes daft). If not for the fact that he does this with the biggest grin imaginable on his face, then I think someone would have reported us to Social Services by now.
