Carnival of the Green 12 May 07
I have to admit that until a few days ago, when it popped up on the Times Online blog ‘Eco Worrier’, I’d never heard of the Carnival of the Green. Its a fairly simple idea though and one which appears to have worked well over the last couple of years.
Each Monday, the Carnival of the Green is hosted by a different blogger, from the ‘green blogosphere’, who for the previous week has received all of the suggestions for posts and articles that could be included. Its up to the individual blogger to decide what to include and how to best present the information.
The result is a travelling roadshow of the latest green news and articles, with a little bit of link love for all of the participants and hosts thrown in. What’s not to like? Well, nothing it seems, so I’ve signed Mad Eejits up for the next available hosting slot… which is in February 2008 – a sign of just how popular the Carnival of the Green is.
Visit TreeHugger for more information on how to submit articles or sign up as a host.
